Featuring globally-renowned DJ Judge Jules and a very special guest vocalist performance from Janice Robinson (Livin’ Joy), alongside Crooked House Events resident DJs The Usual Suspect and Andy James (Crooked House In The Park) and Chris Walton (Crooked House In The Park and Miss Moneypenny’s), get set to relive some of the most incredible dance music of all time against the beautiful backdrop of Beacon Park underneath our festival big top, with classics such as Hey Boy Hey Girl (The Chemical Brothers), Sunchyme (Dario G), Insomnia (Faithless), Right Here, Right Now (Fat Boy Slim), plus many more, delivered like never before.

 

Expect world-class sound and visuals, fairground attractions and an array of hand-picked food and drinks vendors, and if you’re looking to make your Ministry Of Sound Classical experience even more special, we also have VIP and VVIP options available.
 
DJs in the VIP area will be playing an eclectic mix of soul, funk, reggae, downtempo and Balearic beats from 4pm until 9.15pm, a live stream of the Ministry of Sound Classical Orchestra performance will then be shown in the VIP area.

Crooked House Events Live / Ministry Of Sound Classical Lichfield is an 18+ event that operates a challenge 25 policy. Valid photographic ID will be required upon entry. ID’s that are accepted are as follows;

  • Passport (Physical Only)
  • A UK driving license
  • A Proof of Age card

Ministry Of Sound Classical is a brand known far & wide. We’re expecting this to be an extremely popular event so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets are now available – please only use the following ticket providers;

E-Tickets will be sent by the platform you purchased from around 2 weeks prior to the event direct to the lead bookers’ email. Don’t print your tickets, save the trees.

Ticket Tiers Explained

Standard Release tickets allow you access to the main arena where the 31-piece orchestra will be performing alongside resident DJs. Your ticket will also allow you access to the wider festival site which includes fairground rides, multiple bars, and selected street food & drink vendors/activations.

VIP tickets will grant you access to our VIP Village + the main stage. Included in the VIP tickets/Village is a VIP bar, sets from a mixture of your favourite residents DJs, a live feed of the main arena for the orchestral performance, a glass of fizz on arrival, queue jump, posh loo’s & VIP food traders Neighbourhood Coop & Taco El Pap.

We take pride in providing the best street food, bars and drink vendors that add to your overall festival experience. A full list of drink & food vendors will be sent out to ticket holders prior to the event. Don’t worry, we will keep you well fed and watered, there will be something for everyone this August bank holiday! Vegan & vegetarian options will also be available.

Free tap water will be available alongside bottles of water for purchase. We will have a reusable bottle option for sale. We’re expecting the weather to be fabulous. 3 drinks = 1 water.

As a small independent festival, bar sales are essential to keep the festival alive. We have a selection of beers, ciders, spirits, wine & more across all areas of the festival site.

Due to our licensing conditions and being a dance event, chairs are not permitted onto site. No liquids are allowed to be brought onto site.

Unfortunately, there will be no parking offered by Crooked House. There are a number of secure car parks in and around the area within walking distance to the festival site for a reasonable price. Don’t drink & drive.

The nearest accessible car park is located about 30m from the festival site and is free of charge.

There will be a number of accessible toilets located on-site.

There will be a number of first aid qualified members of staff on-site visible within the main arena if ever needed. You will be able to store medication if required.

TOP UP IN ADVANCE & RECEIVE 10% FREE CREDIT

Everybody gets an RFID wristband upon entry to the festival. Any pre-paid vouchers purchased before the festival will be added to your wristband when collected.

  2. Receive your cashless wristband upon arrival.
  3. Exchange your barcoded emailed drinks voucher for credit on arrival.
  4. Top up more on the day with cash or card, if needed at one of the many booths.
  5. Cash is the fastest way to top up. Bring plenty of cash to avoid queues.
  6. Any unused credit will be eligible for a refund following the festival.

Yes. You can top up your drinks credit using cash, card or contactless phones/smartwatches (ApplePay or GooglePay) at any top-up station onsite.

We strongly recommend you bring cash to top up as this is the fastest way to top up if you have not bought online in advance.

There’s a 10% free credit bonus if you purchase before the event begins. 

All food traders and stalls will accept card and cash only. The contactless wristbands are purely for drinks from the bars to avoid large queues. 

Information will be released on how to process your contactless wristband post event. We will post the link 2-3 days following the festival weekend. More information to follow. 

No, ALL purchases made at bars must be done via a cashless RFID wristband.

You will need to print off your advance drinks voucher and present this at the prepaid booth. This would be the same process for your festival entry ticket.
